What to Include
If you are reporting a correction, the message is much faster to act on when it includes:
- The page URL on ArmyPayChart.com
- The specific figure or sentence in question
- A citation to the official source — DFAS pay table, NDAA section, JTR paragraph, or DoD FMR volume — that supports the correction
- The effective date the source applies to
For content suggestions, a sentence or two on the gap you noticed is enough.
What We Can't Help With
ArmyPayChart.com is an independent reference site. We do not have access to anyone's pay records and cannot resolve issues with an actual paycheck, LES, or entitlement. The right contacts for those situations are:
- Pay errors, missing payments, debt notices: Your servicing finance office, S-1, or G-1, and DFAS through the askDFAS portal.
- Travel claims and BAH disputes: Your installation transportation or housing office, with the Defense Travel Management Office (DTMO) as a secondary reference.
- BAH rate questions for a specific ZIP code: The official BAH Rate Lookup at travel.dod.mil.
- Tax questions: The IRS publication for armed forces members, your installation's Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program, or a qualified tax professional.
- Career and benefits counseling: Your chain of command, MyArmyBenefits/MyNavy/etc., or installation Personal Financial Counselors.
We mention this not to brush off questions, but because the wrong contact can mean weeks of lost time on a pay issue.
Press and Reuse
Press inquiries, citations in academic or policy work, and reuse requests can be sent to the same address with "Press" or "Reuse" in the subject line. Brief excerpts may be quoted with attribution and a link back to the source page; substantial reproduction requires prior permission. Pay-table data sourced from DFAS is in the public domain — see our Terms of Use for the distinction between government data and our editorial work.
Mailing
ArmyPayChart.com does not maintain a public mailing address for general correspondence. For privacy or legal notices that must be served by mail, use the email above to request the appropriate address; we will respond with mailing instructions.
Response Times
Editorial questions and corrections typically receive a response within a few business days. Privacy requests are handled within the timeframes set by the GDPR, UK GDPR, and CCPA where applicable. We do not provide same-day support and the site is not staffed for emergencies — for urgent pay issues, contact your chain of command or finance office directly.
